This is a country classic usually played on the fiddle, but the song is also well suited to the accordion. Here it’s played in the key of ”C” modulating to the key of ”F” at the bridge.
This video should be of interest to any accordion players looking to try something new or interested in adding a new dimension to their playing.
A wonderful accordion tune which is not often played. This is one of my favourites.
Fun with Backing Tracks.
During these difficult time I thought that this might be appropriate.
"Oh, Pretty Woman" or "Pretty Woman" is a song recorded by Roy Orbison. It was released as a single in August 1964 on Monument Records and spent three weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 . The record ultimately sold seven million copies and marked the high point in Orbison's career. "Oh, Pretty Woman" was eventually the basis for the 1990 film Pretty Woman starring Julia Roberts and the 2018 Broadway musical Pretty Woman: The Musical.
